Yadea-YS500-Nepal-Test-Drive-Review-Image1
We aren’t going to sugar coat anything folks, things are looking grim. The second wave of the virus is gaining on us, and the numbers are rising. Nevertheless, we will try to keep things upbeat in spite of COVID-19 breathing down our necks. Hopefully, this issue will help keep your mind off things, so let’s get things rolling.
On our cover is the Foton Tunland E, a dual cab pickup truck that comes under a budget. Pickups have always been workhorses built to get the job done. However, with time, Nepal has seen a barrage of premium pickup trucks that scale right up in terms of pricing. So much so, that you’ll have trouble putting the pickups through unchartered terrains, despite the fact that pickups are actually built to be pushed hard. The Tunland E though finds a sweet spot between the premium pickup segment and the budget-friendly worker truck. Check out what the Foton Tunland E has to offer and decide if it’s a bang for your buck.
Also on the four-wheel front, we have the upgraded Tata H5 that gets a new BS6 engine along with a host of important updates. We loved the Tata H5 when we first drove it in late 2019; naturally, we were very keen on getting our hands on the newer version. And we did!
Rounding out this issue is the Yadea YS500 and the NIU MQi+, an electric mountain bike and an electric scooter. The inexorable transcendence of the automotive world towards alternative fuel sources is apparent, and these are the trailblazers setting the pace in Nepal. Flip to their reviews and get a glimpse of what the future has in store for us.
That about wraps things up for this issue. We hope you enjoy it; but, more importantly, we hope you are taking all the necessary safety measures to keep the COVID-19 virus at bay. This is the most important matter at the moment and we cannot stress this enough. Wear a mask, maintain social distance, and keep your head up.
